Bi/Level Coach "Colorado River"
Title:  Bi/Level Coach "Colorado River"
Description:  This car was originally purchased by the Southern Pacific in 1955 as a double deck coach, and was assigned as SP #3708. Then in 1992, Transcisco Tours purchased and renamed the car, the San Jose. Burlington Northern took ownership of the car in 1994, and renamed it the Colorado River. On June 10, 1998, BNSF renumbered the car to BNA #40, and then further renumbered the car to its present state in the roster at BNSF #44. The car's passenger capacity is a total of 43 people, this being divided into a 20-person capacity in the lower level, and a 23-person capacity in the upper level.
